Artwork

What types of artworks are available on Kline Collective?
We sell different types of artworks, including handmade oil painting, photography art, artwork printed on canvas. Kline Collective sells both framed and unframed prints of different sizes, so you should find exactly what you're looking for.

Who made the artworks on Kline Collective?
As a proud advocate of local artworks, we support the young aspiring artists who possess different types of skills and want to further develop their career. For the handmade painting, all artworks are done by local artists from Asia and Oceania, including the artists from Thailand, Vietnam, China,  Japan, Australia and New Zealand. We do also partner with artists from Europe and the rest of the world as well.

Do you sell print or handmade artworks?
Yes, we sell both print and handmade artworks.

Can you help me find something specific?
If you know what you're looking for or have a specific print or artist in mind, use our powerful search and filter tool to quickly locate your print from within our archives and collections. Alternatively, you can contact us and tell us what you like. We will try to create the best artwork for you.

Quality

For oil painting, are they all hand-made?
Yes absolutely! All our oil paintings are 100% hand-made. That’s why once you pay us for a new order, it takes time for our artist to finish their works.

 

Does the real painting look like the mockup photo?
Please note that for oil painting, it is 100% handmade and hand-painted by artists. Therefore, there might be a slight difference or the color may vary, due to the handmade nature of the painting. Therefore, once the painting is finished, we will send you a photo and video for approval. If you need any further revision, you are welcome to let us know and we are very happy to make any small changes for you.

 

Are the artworks sold with or without frame?
We sell both framed and unframed artworks. Please note that some of our artworks must be framed with glass. In this type of artwork glass and frame must be used to protect the artwork from moisture and harmful UV rays which can fade the colors.

 

Some collections are sold without frames because the artists and curators might want our customers to support local business by letting them go to a local framer to frame the artworks. Usually it is what our customers want. The price is cheaper when customers order the rolled canvas options. It is because the shipping cost will be lower and also it gives our customers more freedom to choose the frames that they want in their local frame shops. Materials

What kinds of painting materials are used in your artwork?
Don't be surprised when you see that we use an old packaging tube to carry your artwork. We want our customers to treasure the artwork, not the packages.

Kline Collective is concerned that we leave as small an environmental footprint as possible. For the oil painting, we are in a continuous process of reviewing the re-cycled content of our papers, the sustainable sources of the woods we use, the biodegradable credentials of any packaging and the energy we consume.

The canvas we choose is 100% pure linen and cotton fabrics which is biodegradable. It is UV and moisture-resistant. 

What types of materials are your frames made of?
The most common materials used in our artwork framing is pinewood. We also use aluminum for specific artwork as well.

What are the most common types of sizes?
The size of each individual artwork is different. Here are some of the most common types of size our artworks offer:

What are the framing options available?
We offer stretched on canvas print, rolled canvas and artwork with frames.

Stretched Canvas
A stretched canvas print is a type of artwork that involves printing designs onto canvas, then stretched the canvas over a wooden frame, the design/ photo is often wrapped around the edges of the frame as well as the front.

Rolled Canvas
Most people order rolled canvas prints for ease when moving them long distances for example overseas. A rolled or un-stretched canvas is just the printed canvas without the wooden frame, it is delivered rolled ready to be framed your a local framer or draped as it is without a frame. Framed Artwork

If you order with frames, our studio can do the framing process for you. Depending on the type of artwork you purchase, you can be offered with a host of framing options: matting (a piece of paper or cardboard that goes inside the frame and mounts the print or photo), molding (decorative embellishments on the outside of the frame), glass (referred to as glazing, which can be made of glass or acrylic, and, depending on what you choose, can offer UV protection), and the frames themselves.


Do you offer other sizes other than what’s displayed on the site?

Yes, we do. Just send us an email or call us, we will create customized sizes for you.

Orders and Payment

What payment options are available?
We offer a range of ways to pay for your order, so you can choose to make payment by debit or credit card, Paypal and also different local payment options available in customer's home country.

 

We also accept bank transfer in different currencies. If you are in Thailand, we can also accept cash payment in our studio.

Are your prices inclusive of taxes?
Please note that we don’t charge taxes, what you see is what you get, there are no hidden costs or fees. It’s all about great quality canvas prints at great prices with zero fuss.


Shipping Cost

The prices include the shipping cost already. You do not need to pay for the extra for the shipping cost.


Custom Duty

Goods - such as the art products you buy - can't simply be shipped freely from country to country. When goods are imported into a different country or customs territory, there is a charge called Customs Duty that must apply. This is charged by the local customs authority where the goods are being imported into.

If Customs Duty is payable to your territory, you'll be responsible for paying it to the authorities, so Kline Collective isn't involved in this process. Whether Customs Duty is payable, and by how much, depends on a whole lot of different things. For example, many countries have a 'low value threshold' below which they do not charge any Customs Duty.


If you do have to pay Customs Duty though, the amount payable is usually calculated based on the value of the goods and the type of goods being imported.


If I don’t pay the custom duties.

If, for whatever reason, you refuse the customs fee and the parcel is returned back to us, a shipping and handling fee may be deducted from your refund. If you're still unsure on whether you'll be subject to customs fees, we recommend contacting your local customs office for more info before placing your order.


When will you take payment for my order?

If you pay by debit or credit card, we will take payment on dispatch of your order. Paypal payments are taken on the date of your order confirmation.


Change Order

We’re unable to make any changes to your order once you’ve hit the ‘place order’ button, this includes the following:

  • Changing the item or size
  • Delivery/billing address
  • Adding items to your order

We will try to request our artist to do the artwork for you. Therefore, once we accept your order it will be  too late to cancel the order once our artists started doing the work for you or we dispatched our items. If you have any concerns you are welcome to contact us at service@klinecollective.com and we will try our best to accommodate your request in case you need to make other requests after you place your order.

Currency
We do charge USD at the end of the product page.

Shipping and Delivery

When will you dispatch my order?

All our oil paintings are handmade. Therefore, it takes time for the artists to complete the works for you. Meanwhile, after the painting process is finished, there is a time for the drying process. Usually it takes 5 to 10 days for your artworks to be finished. Once the drying process is complete, we will ship the artwork to you. It takes 5 days to ship from our warehouse to most destinations in the world via our shipping partners. In total, we try to deliver your items within 2 weeks after you place an order with us, maximum 3 weeks for more complicated artwork orders.

Please note that there are other factors that are beyond our control, for example, the weather conditions, flight delay, custom inspections, etc. But we will try to follow up with our shipping partners when there are special cases.

Will I be informed about the status of my order?

Yes! We will send you update by email whenever your order has been updated. It includes the artist finished working on your work, the item is being dispatched from the shipping warehouse. You will be sure to know when your order will come exactly.

Where can I track my order?

Once your artwork has been dispatched, we will update you an email with a unique tracking number. The tracking number will be linked to your order number and email. Alternatively, you may also track the shipping information via this page

Returns and Refund

At Kline Collective we always do our best to deliver a product that we hope you'll love but should you change your mind or are not satisfied; you have 30 days to return your item(s) for a full refund or replacement.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

During these uncertain times, we want to reassure you that the safety or our customers, employees and partners is our highest priority – and we closely follow the latest guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO) and local authorities.

Our online store is operating as normal and our warehouse has taken all the necessary steps to meet the health and hygiene standards advised by the Thai government in the current situation.

The delivery time is currently not affected by this and our shipping partner DHL is fully operational in most countries with only a few exceptions in local regions and cities. In some cases, however, there may be limitations in the delivery services available based on guidelines from local authorities.
