Artwork

Are all the artworks created by hand?

Certainly! Each artwork we offer is entirely hand-painted. Every piece in our collection is licensed with the original artists or galleries who created the work. This allows us to collaborate with these artists or other skilled painters to recreate the artwork for our cherished customers.

Unlike prints, which can suffer from low-resolution issues, our products are free from such concerns.

Furthermore, you have the option to request color adjustments directly from them.

We also provide custom-sized artwork to ensure it fits your desired wall sizes.

Can I make some changes to the painting?

Certainly! We are more than happy to accommodate changes to the painting.

Each painting is created specifically for you upon receiving your order, which allows us the flexibility to customize the size and colors according to your preferences. We collaborate closely with the artist to ensure that your desired modifications are accurately implemented.

To initiate this process, we kindly request clear instructions and specific details regarding the changes you would like to make to the painting.

Please don't hesitate to send us the details via email at service@klinecollective.com. We will engage in a discussion with the artist to ensure that your vision is brought to life in the final artwork.

What is the process of creating the art?

All artworks offered for purchase on Kline Collective are created on a made-to-order basis.

Upon placing your order, our dedicated artist will promptly commence working on fulfilling your request. Once the artwork is completed, we will send you an email containing a preview photo and video for your review and approval. If you are satisfied with the outcome, we can proceed with drying and framing (if desired) or promptly arranging shipment to your location.

In the event that you find the artwork unsatisfactory, we are open to accommodating your requests for adjustments or even having the artist redo the piece before shipping it out to you.

Will I be updated about the progress?

Absolutely! We understand the importance of keeping you informed about the progress of your order. Our art production process consists of four stages:

1. Order Processing: This is the initial stage where we process your order.

2. In Production: This stage indicates that the artist has started working on your artwork.

3. Artwork Finished: Once the artist completes your piece, we will send you a notification email along with a preview photo and video for your review and approval.

4. Shipped: After receiving your approval, we will ship the artwork to you, providing a tracking number for your convenience.

At each stage, you will receive a notification email, ensuring that you stay updated and informed about the progress of your order. This way, you won't miss any important updates throughout the production and delivery process.

This diverse network of presence allows us to serve customers, framers, and artists from around the world. Please be aware that we do not maintain a physical gallery and cannot accommodate visitors.

Being a US-based company, we prioritize the quality of our products, ensuring that all artworks conform to the rigorous standards and regulations established for US customers, including safety standards. Additionally, our artworks meet the stringent standards set by the state of California, known for having some of the most rigorous standards in the US.

Custom size, color change, and modification

Yes absolutely!

We are more than happy to accommodate requests for custom sizes or colors for the painting.

If you would like to alter the size, change the color, or make minor modifications to the artwork, we are here to assist you. To initiate the process, please reach out to us via email at service@klinecollective.com.

Kindly provide us with additional details about your specific requirements, and we will gladly create a custom order that is tailored to your needs and preferences.

Is it possible for the painting to closely resemble what is shown online?

Due to the nature of our hand-painted artworks, usually, there is a minor and insignificant difference.

There are several factors that can influence the perception of colors in the preview photo and video, including lighting conditions, the device or monitor used for viewing, and the photography process. Our team makes every effort to represent the colors as faithfully as possible.

If adjustments are necessary, we are more than happy to modify the colors according to your preferences.

Can I get a preview before it is shipped?

Certainly! We understand the importance of ensuring your satisfaction, and we offer the option to preview the artwork before it is shipped to you.

Once the artwork is finished, we will provide you with both a photo and a video for your review and confirmation. This way, you can have a clear idea of the artwork's appearance before it is sent to you.

I don't like the result. What can I do?

While it is a rare occurrence, we understand that there may be instances where you are unhappy with the artwork.

In such cases, we are committed to finding a solution that meets your needs. We can explore various options, including but not limited to adjusting the artwork based on your vision and requirements or arranging for another artist to redo it.

Your satisfaction is our priority, so please share your specific concerns and preferences with us, and we will make every effort to accommodate your request and ensure that you are pleased with the final result.

Signature and Certificate

Our collection comprises unique, handcrafted artworks.

All orders come with a certificate of authenticity. Our painters personally sign every artwork. By including the painter's signature on the artwork, you are preserving a vital part of its history, enabling you to recount a captivating story even years down the line.

We firmly believe that these elements not only enhance the value of the artwork but also transform it into a cherished piece for our art collectors.

Frame and Materials

What framing option is available?

We provide multiple options for displaying the artwork you purchase from our site, including rolled canvas, gallery wrap (no bleed or with bleed), and framed options.

When it comes to frames, we offer a variety of colors, including black, white, walnut wood, birch wood, gold, champagne, silver, black and silver, and black and gold.

What is the specification of the frame?

We use canvas float frames which are designed with convenience in mind. They come equipped with all the necessary accessories and suspension hardware, along with reserved holes on the back of the frame.

The canvas float frames have a depth of approximately 1.37" (35mm) on the inside and outside. They securely stretch the canvas on a 1" deep stretcher bar and come with hooks for easy hanging.

Simply hang the framed artwork on your wall, and it's ready to be admired.

I want a special frame. Can you help?

Our standard offering includes a canvas floating frame. Currently, we have five standard frame colors available: black, white, walnut wood, birch wood, gold, champagne, silver, black and silver, and black and gold.

We understand that customers may have specific preferences for frame colors beyond our standard options. While we cannot guarantee the availability of other colors in our stock, we encourage you to contact us with your specific request. We will make every effort to find the perfect match for your desired look.

For those who require a specific color, we recommend choosing rolled canvases. Rolled canvases are delivered without the floating frame, allowing you to frame them according to your preferences after delivery. They are shipped in a rolled form, ready for framing.

Is the artwork ready to hang?

Yes, if you place an order with a frame.

When you order with a frame, we provide the service of stretching and installing the artwork for you, eliminating the need for you to assemble it yourself.

Are there any mounting and laminating options available?

Currently, we do not offer mounting and laminating services.

Our artworks are framed flush with the edge of the art without a mat.

However, if you have specific requests for border modifications and spacers, we can accommodate them. These options will ensure that the artwork does not come into contact with the glass or mat if you decide to mount and laminate your art in the future.

What materials are used for the framing and painting?

Our artist works with artist-grade 400gsm cotton canvas, which has a finely textured surface.

In our paints, we prioritize the use of vegan-friendly and non-toxic pigments, ensuring that they are free from any animal products.

For the outer frame, we use high-quality polystyrene, which is a durable and lightweight material. This provides a sleek and modern appearance to the frame while ensuring its stability.

As for the inner frames, we exclusively use sustainably sourced pine wood for their construction, reflecting our commitment to environmentally responsible practices.

Rugs

Is the entire piece of the rug handcrafted by artisans?

Yes, all rugs are 100% hand-knotted and tufted by our artisans; there is no machine mass production involved in the process.

Where are your rugs made?

Every piece is meticulously crafted by hand in Tibet, China; Kathmandu, Nepal; or Gaziantep, Türkiye, depending on the weaving style. We cherish the robust connections we've built with our weaving centers and uphold a mutual commitment to quality and ethical trade.

What is the rug ordering process?

Upon placing an order, our designer will work on the digital rendering file for your reference, a process that typically takes about a week. This file will provide information about the overall design concepts, color schemes of the rug, as well as the weaving techniques employed.

Upon your confirmation of the details, our artisans will commence the production of the rug tailored to your specifications.

Every custom rug is meticulously crafted using a cut pile tufting gun. Each throw and area rug from Kline Collective undergoes precise cutting to shape the pile and
is carefully shaved down. This process enhances the vibrancy of colors and outlines, guaranteeing that our rugs are uniform, soft, and delightful to the touch.

After your rug is created, we’ll send you photos and videos of it. You will be able to see your rug before it is shipped.

Can I order a small sample first?

Yes. We highly recommend you to do so! Our rugs are customized to your order. While we do our best to replicate the online display, exact matches aren't guaranteed.

To ensure satisfaction, we suggest obtaining a small sample to review fibers, patterns, colors, scale, weaving styles, and other nuances.

If you decide to proceed with the full order, the sample cost is fully refundable.

What's the lead time on a rug order?

All rugs are custom-made, and lead times may vary based on construction and design complexity.

Typically, the production process requires a minimum of 25 business
days or 5 weeks. An additional 10 days are needed for transportation.

Every step is done entirely by hand so it cannot be rushed. Throughout the process, we will receive images from the weaving centers of your rug taking form – so we always send these on to you where possible. If you have a special request deadline do let us know.

Depending on the time of year we may be able to improve lead times significantly.

Can I order a personalized rug?

Certainly!

All rugs can be customized in various sizes or colors. Additionally, you can also send us a photo of your design or idea that you would like to have turned into a rug.

Feel free to contact us, specifying your requirements and the rug you wish to create.

What is the returns and refund policy for rugs?

To ensure the prompt processing of your order, we kindly request that you respond to the rendering file emails within 24 hours. Failure to do so will result in the continuation of the rug-making process to fulfill your order.

Please note that customers who fail to respond within 24 hours to the rendering follow-up email will not be eligible for cancellations.

Only stock rugs are eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges. Custom orders, made-to-order rugs, or rug samples are not eligible for returns or refunds.

For further details, please consult our refunds policy.

Do you ship to my country and how long is the delivery?

We ship worldwide free of charge. So, yes, we ship to your country! After you place your order, the artist will start the crafting process.

Please understand that this part usually takes up to 5 weeks due to the hand-knotting and cutting process. Shipping is done with UPS, Fedex or DHL express and usually takes up to 8 to 10 business days.

Please note that express shipping is unavailable for orders with excessively large sizes (the minimum side larger than 118" or 300cm). For further information, feel free to contact us.
