Using bold colors to create a sense of mystery, Ukrainian architect, interior designer and artist Anastasiia Bakhchevan creates artworks that are fueled by intuition and a fascination with unusual dark colors. Originally from Odessa, Ukraine, she works as an architect, interior designer and illustration with over 8 years of experience in both commercial and residential, and most recently, 3D and metaverse visualization. As an artist, she likes working with watercolor, oil, ink, etc. A very talented illustrator, artist and world builder.
Her style is bold and brave, and she finds great inspiration in using unusual patterns and hues that add mystery and intrigue to the interior. “Most people are afraid of dark colors, especially in the interiors. It is easy to overdo it with them.”
Kline Collective collaborates with Anastasiia on a special collection inspired by war. Dark light with little bit of horizontal stripe was inspired by what has been happening in Ukraine over the last year where people spent the days and nights without electricity. It was darkness day and night. The light stripe in her works represents hope that pierces through all the extreme darkness.
All our frames are handmade by professionals. We use 400gsm cotton canvas, a hand-stretched wooden inner frame and ready-to-hang floating frame. It is lightweight and easy to hang. All framed orders are shipped with museum-quality wooden crates designed with absolute maximum protection in mind.
Our standard floater frame is about ¼”(0.7 cm) to the width, 1.8” (4.5cm) to the frame depth, 0.94” (2.4cm) to the rabbet depth. Stretched out canvas is about 0.8″ (2cm) to the depth.
We only use the world’s first 100% safe and friendly artist paint, made from exclusive non-toxic pigments and raw materials. They are moisture-resistant and odor-free.
Framed paintings are shipped using UPS or DHL Express, while rolled canvas paintings are shipped via FedEx and UPS Express. Express shipping is free for all paintings. The prices already include shipping, framing, custom built wooden crates, import duties and sales tax. The framed paintings are put in a museum-quality wooden crate designed with absolute maximum protection in mind.
