Who is eligible for the Kline Collective Trade Program?

Accredited design professionals, including interior decorators, architects, landscape designers, members of professional staging organizations, and set decorators, qualify for a business account. Regardless of whether your focus is residential or commercial, you can enjoy an exclusive 20% discount on all full-priced merchandise from Kline Collective.

Appropriate Application Credentials:

  • Valid membership in a major design organization (ASID, IIDA, AIA, NKBA, IDC, etc.)
  • Business or resale license
  • Signed resale certificates for tax exemption in each applicable state (US only)
  • Business card reflecting your design profession
  • Interior design certification (NCIDQ, CCID, etc.)
  • Utah Exemption Certificate, form TC-721 (for non-Utah resident designers)
  • For tax exemption in multiple states, use a streamlined sales tax exemption form

What shipping options are available?

Please contact us via call or email for available shipping options for extra large size pieces. Extra large art pieces include White Glove Delivery as part of the handling fee during checkout.

Can I request material samples?

We offer frame sample for a fee, with a refund upon return within 30 days. Reach out to a Designer Trade representative for further guidance.

What is the return policy?

Within 30 days, a refund is issued for returned products. After this period, we provide replacements or refunds for purchases with manufacturer defects only. To initiate a return, contact us at 310-289-3052 or service@klinecollective.com

How can I enroll in the Trade Program?

Enroll by completing an online application and submitting supporting documents. Find the application on our Trade Program page.

To be eligible, design professionals need two forms of documentation:

  • A business card indicating the applicant’s design profession OR a design firm website listing the applicant’s name. (Each design professional in a firm must apply separately for membership by submitting individual credentials.)
  • Business License/Resale Certificate OR a valid membership card from one of the approved professional organizations. Note that the application requires the necessary documentation for processing.

How long does the approval process take?

Non-tax exempt organizations receive an immediate issuance of their Trade Program number and the associated shopping discount.

Tax-exempt organizations require manual processing and approval.

Upon submission of the application and documents, we will finalize and respond to the application within 48-72 hours.

For approved tax-exempt applications, an email will be sent to the member containing their 19-digit member number. Physical cards aren't issued to new members. Present or enter the digital member number during your shopping.

How can I set up an account after submitting my application?

Activate Trade Program accounts online by adding the member number to an existing account or creating a Kline Collective login if not already present.

When using a client’s credit card online, ensure that the billing address matches the shipping address.
