Refund policy

180-Day Extended Returns
We offer a 180-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of delivery*. If more than 180 days have passed since your delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund.

To request a return, please email us at service@klinecollective.com with the subject line "Returns". Include your order number, full name, and the reason for your return. We will review your request and inform you of our decision.

*Note: The 180-day return period does not apply to damaged items. If your item arrives damaged, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photo or video evidence of the damage. This is required for us to process a return or replacement. If you fail to do so within this timeframe, we may not be able to accept your return.

Free Returns
If your return request is approved, we will issue a prepaid return shipping label and provide instructions for returning the item. Please ensure the item is securely packaged in its original packaging or an equivalent protective alternative.

Returns are free, excluding any VAT/duties paid at customs. However, returns will not be accepted under the following circumstances:

  • You fail to respond to the preview email within 48 hours
  • The product is excluded from returns (see list below)

Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Gift cards
  • Clearance or sale items
  • Personalized or custom orders
  • Discounted orders
  • Orders with "Priority Finishing"
  • Items marked “Non-Returnable”
  • Applicable surcharges on orders
  • Orders could not be fulfilled because of customs processing issues, invalid delivery data, or non-acceptance by the recipient
  • Orders involving a redo
  • Orders for which the customer did not respond to the last preview email within 48 hours

Custom Orders
Custom orders include any artwork created with customer-specified sizes, images, colors, or other special requests. Once your custom order is placed, we’ll provide a digital mockup for your approval before production begins. Please note that this mockup is for visual reference only and may not exactly match the final hand-painted piece.

All custom orders are final and cannot be returned or refunded. Dissatisfaction with minor differences from the mockup is not a valid reason for cancellation or return, as each artwork is individually hand-painted and unique.

Surcharges
While we are committed to providing a seamless experience, certain additional charges may apply during the order process for specific requests or services that go beyond the standard. These may include, but are not limited to, the use of specific materials in the product, frame replacements or modifications, product change requests, white glove delivery, or any other services not explicitly outlined in our policies or product descriptions. If any of these charges apply to a special request during the order process, we will inform you in advance and ensure you are fully aware of the details before proceeding. Please note that surcharges are non-refundable.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the refund status. If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method or issued as store credit, depending on your preference.

Cancellations
We understand that plans can change. You may request to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided the order has not yet entered production. Cancellations are not accepted after the 24-hour window.

Preview Email & Revisions
After your artwork is completed, we’ll send you an email with a video and photo preview. You’ll have 48 hours to respond with any revision requests or specific instructions. If no response is received within that timeframe, production and shipping will proceed automatically to fulfill your order and avoid delays. Orders that proceed without a response to the preview email are not eligible for cancellation or refund.

Vague or non-specific feedback (e.g., "can you improve it?") may not be actionable. We recommend that revision requests be clear and detailed to ensure a satisfying result.

In rare instances, the preview process may require the product to be redone. If a redo is requested, it will serve as the final adjustment to meet your expectations. Please note that a redo can only be requested once per order and is not eligible for cancellation, return, or refund.

Important Artistic Notice
All artworks are hand-painted and will naturally contain variations in brushwork, texture, and color. Exact replicas of digital images are not possible due to the handmade nature of the product and differences in lighting, screen display, and photographic presentation.

These natural variations are part of the value and character of hand-painted art and do not qualify as defects.

Gift Cards, Store Credits & Reward Points
Gift cards, store credits, and reward points are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Store credits may only be used for future purchases.
